Battery cell naming is generally based on size, such as abcdef, where ab represents the thickness of the battery, cd represents the width of the battery, and ef represents the length of the battery. In addition, generally, after adding a protection board, the battery length will increase by 2mm compared to the length of the battery cell
The main function of adding a protection board is to prevent overcharging and overdischarging of the battery. If the battery does not have a function to prevent overcharging and overdischarging, it will be scrapped after a few uses and there is a risk of explosion and combustion. Therefore, if the battery is not equipped with a protection board, the main board of the product must have this function. There are mainly two types of commonly used protection boards: ordinary protection boards and precision protection boards. The cut-off protection voltage of ordinary protection boards is 2.5V, while that of precision protection boards is 3.0V. The charging voltage is 4.2V for both.
As the outermost aluminum-plastic film of the battery is relatively thin, during use, avoid touching sharp objects and do not fold or bend the battery
